I am halfway house. I use corded phones connected to a small BT adaptor kept on my belt in an adapted Zippo lighter pouch.

Makes it easy to switch to listening instead to my personal DAB radio (which does not have BT) or if the BT adaptor runs out of power can fail-back to a USB adaptor instead using the same corded phones.
