Yes it took a while for them to text me back but once they responded it was a pretty quick process, I'm going to do this from my wife's phone as well because she uses them more than I do.

Just did the text thing and received an almost instant response. Have two ticket numbers and said maybe 2 weeks. Money or the ear phones I don't really care. I use blue tooth most of the time.

They don't need a dongle, the cord is a usb c plug.

Did the text message route and ticket has been created, expected to receive the earphones in couple of weeks. By far the easiest and smoothest way to require since you don't have to chat or explain anything to anyone. Easy process and was quick.

Just saw this article on Android Central. You click the link and input your phone number to receive a text then verify your phones IMEI through Samsung. I already got and used the $30 coupon to save on a 512gb card but I'll take a free pair of headphones also!

Yep, I just did it and it worked. It said they would be sent out shortly. Interestingly, they probably should rethink how they went about this, it would have been cheaper to just include them in the first place...

How stupid they were not to include them and then offer to do this! It still might come out cheaper in the end because not everyone will claim them.

That's because only people in the forums like us will request via these means. 99% of the people won't even know you can request something like this so they are still saving money by not including them.

If you copy the IMEI number from about phone make sure you delete the spaces after pasting.

Yup....exactly. I'm not even sure why I bothered because I have enough wired buds that I don't really use. I was glad to get the extra 30 dollar credit though...lol
