Yup....exactly. I'm not even sure why I bothered because I have enough wired buds that I don't really use. I was glad to get the extra 30 dollar credit though...lol

Yeah I have few lying around but I use wired ones to listen to podcasts while sleeping and some times just leave it in the ear. Eventually they go bad so having few extra doesn't hurt

If you copy the IMEI number from about phone make sure you delete the spaces after pasting.

When I copied/pasted I didn't see a space?

The 30 dollar credit was hit or miss through Samsung support and some people got earbuds instead that way. I'm not sure if you can still do that in light of the link they created or how well they informed customer service is.

When I chatted last week they direct you to call some number and I think they will order the earphones for you. Basically yeah that loophole probably is closed now.

About phone - Status - IMEI information. Copied from there and there wasn't any extra spaces

Hmm I tried with my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra bought from Samsung.com and worked fine without issues.

May be because you bought from Verizon?

I chatted from Samsung Members and they forwarded me to Samsung Support. They gave
me a reference number to use to return to chat once my device shipped and once I returned they sent me a promo code 24 hrs later.

Make sure no spaces in your number. I originally got the same message.
