Android Central Question

Actually 2 issues:
1. I now get a notification anywhere from 1 hour to 1/2 hour that I have an upcoming alarm? Really???? I did find out how to turn the sound off but I am a light sleeper and even the blinking notification light is enough to disturb my sleep.

2. Previously when an alarm went off, I unlocked phone and the alarm would be displayed where I could swipe left to snooze or swipe right to dismiss.
Now when an alarm goes off I have to unlock phone, scroll through my notifications, find the one for the alarm that's ringing, and touch the notification to access the alarm. This isn't ideal since I do not have my glasses on yet. This method is not good.

How can I stop the upcoming notification? And how can I go back to how it used to be? There does appear to be an update to the alarm, can I just uninstall and go back to the default clock?

Sorry, I can't speak to the notification LED as I don't have mine enabled. I will say that there is a notification posted for upcoming alarms, that allows you to preemptively dismiss them if you're awake or aware of the event the alarm was set for.

As for the alarm silencing - I don't recall ever having to unlock my phone to silence the alarm (or my tablet for that matter). The alarm takes over the screen and has a spot to swipe to silence it, no unlock screen.

There are quite a few options in the clock app notification settings.

Are you using a 3rd-party lock screen? That may be interfering.
