Alarms not working when locked

I have a Nexus 5, and just got the OTA to marshmallow. Since then, my alarms will not go off if the phone is locked. I have tried gentle alarm and Alarm Clock extreme. I have smart lock enabled, but it still re-locks overnight. As soon as I unlock my phone in the morning, the alarm starts going off. I never had an issue prior to the update.

I found Alarm Clock Plus works just fine. First day after update, I was late because Alarm Clock Extreme didn't alarm.

I've been experiencing this after upgrading as well. I just installed Alarm Clock Plus as suggested, so we'll see how that works.

I'm curious if you found a solution to the main issue. I use Gentle Alarm as well and would like to continue using it.

Odd issue! I'm lucky I guess. I upgraded to 6.0 on my Nexus 5 and I always use Gentle Alarm, but it works as intended.

I have the same issue with 6.0 production over Nexus 6. A couple apps with alarms fail. I'm on a hunt for a solution.

Here's some info.... It's Doze. Long story short. Poorly built alarm apps are not properly registering alarms with the system, so Doze stomps them.
