Alcatel Idol 4 not receiving all of my texts

I have a Alcatel Idol 4 and I find out from people that they sent me text messages and I never received them. Like this morning, I should have gotten 2 texts from my husband and never got them but I got a few from him later on in the day. Do I need to do a hard reboot or is a Cricket Wireless thing?

If I need to do a hard reboot, is there a way to save all of my text messages?
