Alerts Thru Do Not Disturb?

My wife has an S10+ and on occasions receives a lot of texts from friends. In the evenings when we are having family time, watching movies etc it gets very annoying so she turns on the DO NOT DISTURB function. The problem is she also has a Medication Reminder (Medisafe) app that is also silenced at that time. (Not good). Is there a setting or an app that will let Medisafe still come thru but everything else is silenced. Thanks in advance. CC

I don't think the app can override DND, but you could create an alarm for roughly that time. Alarms do override DND.

You can do what you are asking.

Long press the app and go to app info.

Tap "notifications".

Under "categories", tap whatever the notification channel you need is, or do this for all of them.

A menu will appear with an option to "ignore Do Not Disturb", toggle it to on.

You can also get here by going to Settings, Apps, the app you're talking about.

I wasn't going to help because you spelt "through" as "thru", but being as it's something medical I'll give you a pass
