All calls going straight to voicemail

Have found that if you are on v5.1.1, no matter the device or carrier, that there is an issue with it getting confused between wifi and your cell network. I've done all the other items in past suggested (turning off the Smart Network switching in wifi, disabling the VoLTE option, etc). I finally caught not able to accept a call, at a friend's place, and then went though each available option to turn off. Once WiFi was turned off, calls came through, and when re-enabled, they again came through but hours later again got confused, and turning off/on wifi then allowed them through again. So, you either have to downgrade from 5.1.1 or turn off wifi when you are expecting texts/calls. Beyond that, keep hammering your carrier to push back at the device mfg to get the 5.1.1 update resolved.

I am literally on the phone w AT & T right now and the rep is telling me they have never heard of this issue! I'm like WTF?! iT'S ALL OVER THE INTERNET AND FORUMS. So basically you have no clue what is going on? Butttt somehow my phone ( no prompts from me) receives an update while I am on the phone w the rep?? hmmmmm. I had to disable the LTE just to make sure the phone works. Oh BTW I just bought this 3 weeks ago. Thisis why I hate upgrading.

Samsung Galaxy S3/S3 Mini FIXED

To fix this on a Samsung Galaxy Trend phone...
tap 'phone'
tap 'menu'
tap 'call settings'
tap 'call forwarding'
tap 'voice call'
tap 'always forward' then 'disable'
Thank you..
This worked for me.
I also found in Call Settings, a Call Rejection List. That may also work. Hope this helped.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3/S3 Mini FIXED

Got a similar problem, tried to find where to cancel this setting, had no luck :( I have a Motorola Gen 3 with Android 6, and starting this morning, all calls were directly forwarded into my voicemail without any call notification or logging as missed calls. What should I do to get it back to normal?

Try taking off your phone case mine was doing that exact thing then I took off the case and it was fine

That was my issue. Put my original case back on instead of the new water proof one, and all calls received now. Only had it on 4 days. No telling how many calls I missed in that time
