Welcome to Android Central! Does it persist after a reboot? If so, go to Settings>Apps>All, select LG Keyboard (or whatever it's called), and Clear Cache, then try again. If that doesn't work, you could try Clear Data as well, but be aware that this might clear out any personal dictionary you've built up.

Well, I don't think that there's anything much to worry about this one as sometimes problems like this shows up ! I think it has start working normally but if it doesn't then you can head over to the device settings>application manager>swipe left to all>Look out for LG Keyboard app>tap over it and clear the cache and the data stored by the Keyboard app ! See if that fixes the problem you are encountering ! :)

Another option is to install a keyboard app form Play on your desktop. Google is free, and at least that can get your phone operating again.
