ALL of my messages just disappeared

i have no idea what just happened, my htc incredibly is sitting on the desk beside me. a few minutes ago, txt msgs were there...now it's all blank any suggestions on what just happened, or what to do?!

Sweetla did your device update to the new OS? Were you running 2.1 and are you now running 2.2 or were you upgraded already?
