Almost lost my S PEN

How come when the S Pen gets pressed once and it comes out a little, the phone doesn't make a sound or notifies you unless it is all the way out?

I know you didn't really ask, BUT yes it can be replaced. Samsung sells them for around 50, and I've seen them discounted at around 40 on Amazon. You might check eBay also. BUT point is, it CAN be replaced, it's just not cheap!

Yea I'm aware of that! I was just providing the info for the next guy asking about a lost s pen.

I do agree with you some sort of sound as the pen is released WOULD be nice.

There is a setting for a sound when the pen is released. The problem is it isn't very loud. The trick is to downloadb and assign something you can hear. There is a video on you tube on how to make it make a light saber sound.

Mine doesn't have to be all the way out to be notified.. when I pull it out just to where the pen shaft starts at the top and make that match the edge of my tpu case, the phone vibrates.

There is an alarm/ notification if the pen is separated from the phone (which has saved me once or twice when I left the pen on the desk).

There's no notification when the top button is popped out because I don't think that action is part of any sensor in the pen..I think it's purely mechanical.. And just popping the spring doesn't move the pen out so the phone doesn't know. (Guess).

Out where you can download a sound file of the light saber powering on an off. I'm not home but I have it on my laptop.
Every time that S pen is pulled it sounds like Dark Vader getting ready to go to work.
