Alright - I know some of you are coming from iPhones.

I think for me the biggest let down is the video pillar boxing. I watch a ton of video on my phone and cropping and zooming are not doing it for me.

What I do like is being able to use my Gear S again...love that little computer on my wrist. Oh and the slimmer size in hand is better.

The strangest thing I find is that the Bixby screen does not have a stock ticker section. The edge screen does, but I really want it on the Bixby screen.

I miss Facetime and iMessage. I think my 7 Plus was also faster than my S8+. Other than that, I love the S8+.
Try Allo and Duo, they are exactly iMessage and FaceTime and available on iOS.

Wife sent me a video via SMS and I was like yikes this is terrible, we downloaded Allo for video and photo sharing and it's exactly like iMessage now.

I love both. I have the S8 and I moved from iPhone after having one since the 2nd generation about a year ago. I have an iPad Pro which keeps me connected to some of what I loved about iOS. iPhone is stale and dated though. I don't miss it. Even with the next generation, it sounds like they will be doing everything Samsung has been doing for a while: AMOLED, wireless charging, larger screen in a smaller footprint, etc. I'm staying with Android until Apple decides to really innovate with their phones again.
