Don't have the opportunity to do is compare screens. Am I going to be disappointed coming from my gnex amoled screen? I love my g nex display for the really deep contrast . I am psyched for this phone but unsure of the display! Help!

You will not be disappointed with the screen. Have you played with any new LCD or IPS devices? I prefer them to amoled. Better visability in sunlight and the whites are "whiter". Some disagree though. You just have to play with them and see for yourself.

You know that's all just a guess at this point. Nobody has any idea what will/won't have a vibrant dev community behind it.

Well, I've recently had Motorola devices and things have been extremely sparse (which is okay, because its stock-ish).

I guess I'm curious how LG has been handled in the past, it be a decent indicator.

That is the billion dollar question. I have the S4 and given the issues of late with ME7 FW not getting unlocked and may never happen I may be returning my phone and keeping my upgrade for something else, and pay retail for this phone (G Pro was $549 retail) so I suspect this wouldn't be much more than that, oh wait it's Verizon of course it will be $699 list price like the new Moto Droid Maxx. I mean it has a dual core S4 Pro Processor, 32GB, big battery and a 5" 720p display yet its $699 list price. What type of crack does Verizon smoke.
