Always On Display Alternative

Good day all! I just picked up my third S7 Edge, this time in Titanium, and briefly considered the G5 and one of the reasons was the Always On Display that the G5 uses. Knowing Android would have an alternative I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of something a little more fictional than the Samsung offering. Any ideas?

Thank you! I did try Glance Plus but it seemed to have some bugs. It didn't work very well. Whenever I hit the home button I had to wait about 5 seconds for the screen to actually come on.

It was updated a couple times recently. It's one of those very promising apps that might be worth giving a shot every so often. Kind of like good lock. I want that app to work, but there's still some issues and I end up uninstalling again
