Always On isn't really always on

I notice that when the room goes dark, such as in my bedroom, the Always On screen goes away and the phone screen is black. Anyway to keep Always On always on?

You sure you don't have it on a schedule? I know it disappears when it's put in a pocket, purse, etc.

Try turning off the "Block accidental touches".

If your room is very dark, your Note 8 might think that it is in your pocket.

Block Accidental Touches is off. It's not on a schedule, "Always On" is turned on.
