Am I crazy..??

You can talk about devices and prices all day long. At the end of that day Verizon still has the fastest service and the widest available service in the country. There are spots where that is not true but on the average that is a factual statement. Everybody has their own priorities. My priority is reliable and widespread service. The speed is an added plus.

Exactly. You might have the nicest phone in existence, but that doesn't mean anything if you're in an area that doesn't have coverage.

Verizon is the only carrier to lock up the S3. Just more reason to believe they aren't going to get another Nexus. Verizon messes up every phone they touch. I have a white Gnex here at home to switch to At&t if only it wasn't for my unlimited data.

Sorry, but I don't see how the locking of the SIII is reason to believe anything either way about Verizon getting another Nexus...or are you privy to the thoughts and feelings of the decision makers at Google and Verizon?

Good grief. We don't even know who is making the next Nexus. It might not even be Samsung.

Verizon didn't like phones that were so open before, either -- look at the Droid X. That didn't stop them from getting a Nexus -- and people used to swear up and down that Verizon would never get a Nexus.

The bottom line is likely that Verizon likes money.

If the Nexus sold well, then that may matter most of all.

I still don't understand why locking the GS3 up is more profitable? I can still get wireless hot spot for free non rooted, I still don't have to use verizon's services on a non rooted device. I mean what's the point. Verizon needs to calm the F down with this stuff
