Am I the only one that thinks $60 for a flip cover is crazy?

I ordered my Verizon S4 this week and just like my S3 and my Note 2 I want to get the Samsung flip cover. The one for my S3 was free and the Note 2 one was $40, but with a 50% off coupon it was really only $20. I was planning on using the same 50% off coupon on the new S-view flip cover, so instead of $60 it would only be $30, but the dang coupon is only good for accessories under $50. Anyone know of any good deals on the S-view flip case? I want the Samsung one not some Ebay knock off.

The only Samsung accessory I spend money on is Extra Battery Kit & Dock. Thank God for nillkin on eBay, $10 shipped for both.

Love the S-View Flip Cover but you're right, it's ridiculously over priced. You're lucky you have 50% off coupon, up here I can't even get 10% off.

No, that is a completely insane price, but most accessories are these days.

Most S4's are shipping with a free flipcover (not the S-view one, though...). What really ticks me off is that three Galaxies after Samsung released their first flip cover they STILL haven't figured out that they're covering the darn notification LED!!! I mean, come on! Is it that hard to get a freakin' pinhole in there to let you see the thing is blinking?! (Yeah, sorry, I'm really frustrated by that hehehe)

Anyway, 60 bucks for a flip cover seems too much, especially since this doesn't really protect your phone from a lot other than screen scratches, maybe...

I've seen these batteries for cheap on ebay, are they legit? Like $15 buy it now for battery and charger. Does it seem to good to be true or am I missing something

I bought one when I bought my S4 but since I'm a premier member on ATT I got it for $39 after discounts. Honestly, using the case was a hassle and not worth the money. Got in the way when trying to message, use the camera and even when trying to open it in the car to change music tracks when listening to spotify.

Same here it's a pain in the **** IMOP. If anyone wants mine I will sell it for $40 plus shipping. Not sure if that is against the rules

I now hate those flip covers after dropping my Note 2 from 2 1/2 feet above the ground. The cover flipped open and acted like a wing almost ensuring that my phone would fall glass first. After shattering the screen, I'll never buy a flip cover again that doesn't stay closed.

I finally saw one of these on an S4 at Best Buy. It reinforced my thought that I would hate it. I did.

The flap didn't stay flush with the phone, it was flapping open the whole time. The idea of having to open it to do anything on the phone would drive me INSANE. Lastly, the kind of cover makes sliding it in your pocket very inconvenient.

$60 is crazy.

You won't get the same performance out of el cheapo non Samsung batteries or chargers as the real deal. Samsung's charging circuitry is designed to work with Samsung batteries.

Went to best buy. Put the sview case in the regular flip cover box. 40$ is better than 60 eff it
