I'm at a loss for this issue. Searching Google (and through other Android/Amazon forums) have not returned a solution to my problem.
I have the Amazon Appstore App, and can download and install new apps through it, but I cannot update my existing apps through it without receiving a package parsing error. The only way that it sort of works, is to uninstall the app, and then re-install it. But in the process, data is wiped for the app.
I also tried uninstalling the Amazon Appstore App itself, and then re-installing it. Same problem. I have also shut off my anti-virus, and that also has no effect. Ideas on how to fix this annoying problem?
(There is an update to the Minecraft App that I would like to install, but cannot due to this problem. I really dont want to lose my saved game data.)
