Amazon Instant Video

I followed the steps provided by Amazon on how to install Instant Video. I allowed "unathorized apps" to be installed (Amazon App Store) and from there, I could download Instant Video.

Now when I open the App, it takes me to Google Play to download the Amazon App for tablets, instead of letting me get to the movies. Any ideas?

Its all bs from what I remember when i tried it. (Can't remember exactly why) You can't use it for prime movies. I use puffin browser with the paid flash option.

You need the amazon app store app. You also need to sideload the phone amazon shopping app. Then it'll work for you.

If I recall, Amazon didn't want people using non Amazon tablets for this feature.

It does, in fact work. Install Amazon app. Sideload Instant Video for phone. Do a google search. There's a thread on XDA developers.

I stand corrected. When I tried months ago from what I remembered it would not work. Thanks for the tips.
