Amazon peeps - Anybody else never have their pre-order cancelled?

Mine never got cancelled.

I got a shipping confirmation this morning. I should have the 32GB Champagne model by Monday.

Anybody else have this occur to them?

My preorder was not cancelled, but I have yet to hear anything. I ordered the 64GB amethyst on the 22nd and the keyboard on the 23rd.

My tablet order still says that that will email me when they have more information.

The keyboard order has an estimated arrival of Jan 9.

Weird.

Haven't heard anything yet, but I am in the same situation as you, johnnerg. My keyboard says 6th though.

Is there actually going to be a difference between the availability of the 32gb and the 64gb versions?

My preorder was not cancelled either but I have not yet heard anything from them and it still says that it will arrive after Christmas. I ordered a 32GB Champagne unit.

The 32gb champagnes have started shipping out now. There's posts of.confirmation emails on xda from Amazon.I ordered a 64gb amethyst on the 22nd and haven't heard anything. Est delivery Jan 10th.

this is horrible I am getting so pissed asus is screwing customers over this is absurd.. Why are they taken more orders online and not releasing them to stores.. finish the pre orders they have which should take 2 weeks at most than put them in stores

That annoys me that amazon is taking more orders now... they need focus on the people that put ther hard earned cash down for a pre order and get them there units and not try sell these ridecolus shipping times..this really does remind me of the ps3 fiscal

I might as well accept that as my shipping dates too. Mine still just says they don't know, but "after Dec 25th". I'm sure it will update to those Jan & Feb dates eventually. Oh well

I'm wondering how they are doing this. Mine has shown a delivery date of January 6th since I placed the order (I ordered on 11/22 at 9:17 CST). I also ordered a 64GB in amethyst gray.

I just chatted with a rep yesterday (must have been the 4th of 5th since I ordered) and he assured me that I should receive it by January 6th (as they all have in the past).

Then again, these Amazon reps seem to only have access to the exact same information we have - our Amazon.com "My Account" pages...

That's what I'm thinking, I chatted with a rep and he said he didn't know when mine would arrive as mine hasn't even been updated with an approximate date of shipping. He guessed that it would be the same as the one's you can order right now Late Jan to Feb..... I'm sad to see that kind of wait but who knows maybe they will go out Jan 6.

For the people who got shafted when amazon canceled our first orders and the sent out emails to reorder, it's a joke. I just spoke to a supervisor who says we get put back in line with no priority. I will never use amazon again. I understand they didn't have the item but they cancelled, not me and then throw us to the back of the line. The best he gave me was 4-7 weeks to get mine when I initially ordered on the 22nd.

Pre-ordered on the day it was open for ordering. Never got an email from them but the order is no longer in the system. Fooey!
