Im elgible for an upgrade but they're lieing saying they can't upgrade me 2 years. Was here for 2 hours and they made me pay $586. Thought I could get sprint to reimburse me, but when I called the "supervised" at sprint called it lrp EVO 4g. Said that I couldn't use it to upgrade bc I paid full price for it.

I'll just wait. Not spending $286 more when I can wait and pay my rent today.

Their excuse was they only upgrade to 2013. How is that when its 2012 and it takes a 2 year upgrade? Forget it, I'm doomed with this phone. Just gonna wait until best buy or Amazon gets it so I can upgrade for $149.

Idk, never had a worse experience trying to upgrade. Didn't even want to deal w the activation. So over this phone.

Sorry for all the posts guys. Just frustrated as hell I had the phone, was told I could have it for $158. Then they pull the rug right from under me saying, please get this, if you try and upgrade at Walmart they will not honor u if you have more than a year left on your current contract and want to just upgrade to 3 years.

I'm doing this instead of buying my time out to upgrade. Only had my contract a year, but I am elgible for a full upgrade thru best buy, sprint, anywhere buy Walmart.
Does this vibe with any of u guys?

I impulsively bought it for full price, but after learning sprint wouldn't credit my account instead of giving me $ off phone I took it back. $600 is a good amount to me. Had buyers remorse, so I took it back.

What would u guys have done? I know if I was rich the phone would mean more than money, but I had to pay rent and didn't want to dip into savings...

Feel worse than never having it. Plus haven't slept since work all nite, so I probly can't make much sense. Apologies.

You did the right thing,I really like the new new HTC Evo4GLTE ,but I agree $600.00 is way to much for a phone. Unless you have money to burn and can't wait,. Sprint,Best Buy,Amazon will all have it soon, just be patient.

DUDE I FRICKING LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stay about 20 mins from that one. Called, they had one in stock. I asked them to put it on hold for me. By 5pm, I had the phone in my hand and activated. We hit a little bump in the road because my Data had an W on the end instead of an L but she called Sprint and they fixed that for her and I was good to go. I'm sooooo excited. Thank so much decke!!!! Soddy is small and right outside of Chattanooga. I ASSumed that they wouldn't carry Sprint either so I didn't bother to call. I see that we now have a release date at least but I'm happy to have it now Thanks so much. I cancelled my Amazon Wireless order ASAP too lol. I had a hell of a day at work and I'm uber excited to get this phone. Gonna charge it and log back into to work and get some stuff done. Then I'll have all evening and night to play, YAY ♥

LMAO. I started feeling that way too. I was like "I hope the guys don't think I'm going to abandon the thread because I got mine." I'm seeing this thing through. Wonder if anyone has heard anything from them? What case did you end up getting for your Evo? I have not even PLAYED with it yet. Work kicked my booty today and I had to login on my work laptop to finish stuff up. I'm kinda pissed that I'm just not starting to mess around w/ it.

Glad u guys didn't have any trouble. Think the person doing my activation was just dumb as hell. My contract date doesn't matter, only that I'm elgible for an upgrade.

Oh well, she fingered up that phone like crazy anyways. Acted like it was hers. Getting it all smelling like vasoline. No thanks. Id prefer mine unmolested anyways. Not paying $600 for a whored up Walmart phone, lol.

I'm glad bc I try to boycott Walmart and everything it stands for. Would violate that for a new phone, but whatever. Pre-ordered thru my best buy store as well. See what happens with that.

I root and mod my phone too, so I won't be happy with sense. Be cool to play with it and all. Be all the better when I do get it. Won't feel dirty and raped for buying from Walmart.

Spoke to Amazon a few minutes ago...they said they were expecting to get the phones soon and trying to get tracking info on them getting TO Amazon. The gentleman I spoke with said that hopefully they'd have some update today, but he expected an update monday at the latest. Not stellar news, but he did give me SOMETHING. Thought I'd pass it along.

Guys, check your Sprint store and best buys. They are all going to have stock tomorrow for the launch. Have one reserved at best buy and sprint store. Hopefully one of them doesn't screw me over and sell my 4golte before I can pick it up. Will be hard to do since I plan on getting there 15 til opening of best buy for cheaper option.

Good luck to u all this EVO eve. Having visions of androids jumping around in my head. I feel the wait is finally done with. Won't believe it til I have it in my hand tho.
