the mobility divison of Motorola isnt going anywhere. Motorola phones are an Iconic brand and they arent just going to close their doors.

I do agree they bought Motorola mostly for the patents.. but its just plain crazy to think they are going to kill off probably the most recognizable mfg name in the phone industry.

You posted the earnings and the stock is at 38 and some change and is down a little on the report. It is also getting a hold rating.........now if the people who actually have a clue, that being the lying thieves on wall street, thought that Google was going to scrap the company or even a major part of it.........don't you think the stock price would be a hell of a lot more volatile than it is? Its pretty simple.....watch the money .....it would either be pouring in or bleeding out.......and its not, which means wall street thinks the status qou shall remain. That means you should too

I agree. I made a statement and it just kept going. The original poster was his 1st post and a few people jumped on him. Keeping this going only helps him. I don't care if this gets shut down. People are obviously responding to it. Just biding time for the Nexus. Usually means the phone is close to launch when stuff like this happens.

Just checking out the Amazon web site and they have the Verizon Wireless version of the Nexus listed at $699 that is $100 less then both the Razr and the Rezound. Just wondering if Google phones are usually cheaper then other phones.

Amazon also has the phone listed at $249.00 probably with a new 2 year contract.

No, because Google agreed to buy it for $40. That is the market price. It constantly fluctuates around 38 or so for that very reason. I am a stock broker.
