Amazon release?

Hi!

Since it seems like the end of the wait is coming, I, like most of you, am planning on picking up the Nexus. My question is, does anyone know if Amazon releases phones at the same time, or do they release later? I would rather pick it up from Amazon because that way I can avoid paying extra for tax. If they do release later, I don't wanna wait longer because 1. I waited long enough for this phone, and 2. I don't wanna miss out on the double data promotion that may end on the 15th.

I'm betting Amazon has it before the double-data deal expires, but I don't think that helps you with point #1. If you can wait a couple more days, you'd save on tax by buying from Amazon (even though you are technically liable to pay the tax to the state as Use Tax).

I believe you only get a $100 gift card if you activate the mobile hot spot feature, which I will not be doing...
