american nexus 7 in the uk

Hi, I have been considering buying the new nexus 7 from america and having it shipped to the UK. I was wondering if I would be able to use the nexus 7 as I'f Id bought if from the UK. Is there an option that can change this? I'm not looking for access to American only features, I'm buying it because its cheaper. Thanks.
