Android 10 Update Eating Battery in Pixel 2XL

I have a Pixel 2XL (purchased just before the release of the Pixel 3) and the Android update seems to have caused battery drain. The battery life seems shorter and just about gets through half the day before it hits 50%. My battery life was better before this update.

Anyone else having this issue?

Which apps are consuming more battery? Can you post a couple of screenshots with your battery stats?

Not only no issues, but with the P2 (not XL so the battery is smaller), I'm getting better battery life. Are you closing all apps when you finish using them (the Back button), or are you just running the launcher (Home button)? Leaving apps running in RAM (by using the Home button) can eat a lot of battery.

Both Apple and Google say the opposite. They recommend that you don't close them. Management is so good now that they use less battery sitting there than the effort required to start them

Battery life is actually a bit better on my 2xl after the 10 update. Getting a few more hours between charges with same usage.
