Android 10 upgrade regrets?

It's been a while since Android 10 was released. Now that everyone has had a chance to really get into it, do you wish that you were back on 9?

No regrets whatsoever. My Note 9 and Note 10 Plus are both working fine. I didn't even need to do a hard reset. I disliked GESTURES on Android Pie but now use them on both phones. Battery life has improved. Most importantly there's DARK MODE (which still needs improvement especially in the email app. I don't like the OUTLOOK app and still use BLUE MAIL)

Android 10 update

It's been a while since Android 10 was released. Now that everyone has had a chance to really get into it, do you wish that you were back on 9?

Overall my experience has been good. I don't notice too much of a change. However after a while. My phone lags a bit, or freezes. Then a black screen. The worst is my text messages. I master reset my phone thinking it was my phone and not the update. The freezes and lags so bad now. I wish I had kept the previous version. Being a google pixel device I get the updates immediately.

My texting freezes to occasionally also.

A few things weren't working/freezing on me so I went back to December firmware. I'll switch back once more bugs get ironed out.

I was missing Good Lock/Navistar so much that I did downgrade to Android 9/Pie. Good Lock apps really complete my setup. Only thing with downgrading is that you have to do a factory restore. OS 10 has too many different files & won't allow you to downgrade using Odin without restore. Not easy like just downgrading some firmware because even with a backup I still had a lot to re-set up. Looks like Navistar won't come with the initial Good Lock 2020 update.

I missed good lock so much I went out and bought a new note 10+. Needless to say, there's no updating to Android 10 until good lock is updated, and who knows, maybe I won't update it till I'm forced, there really wasn't that much differences in the update.

What do you miss the most?

Quickstar and task changer. I want the clock on the right side. I think that's the biggest thing that drove me crazy with good lock not working. Google should have that as a option baked in, not just on the left side.

Lol... I had a S10+ as a back up phone. My mom needed a new phone, she didn't want payments and only wanted to pay around $500. That's next to impossible when you throw in she wants wireless charging. Best buy had note 10+ on sale, so after looking all morning for a phone, I just told her she could pay the $500 on a note 10+ and I would pay off the rest and she could have my 512 GB S10+ that was used for 3 months. She jumped on that, plus it came with cases.

Best part, best buy screwed up and applied to much of a down payment. Because when they put a phone on sale it's considered a down payment. I even pointed out the price doesn't look right, but the rep pointed at every pricing info on there and said it's correct, he even said this is a better deal, lol. I look at it when I get home, he did it wrong. I owe $24.98 for the phone, and I can pay it off next billing. So, I get the note 10+ for a good price, basically $525. I feel I pointed it out to them.

In reality, I didn't get a new note just to get good lock working. I did it to help my mom get a decent phone and I have a better back up phone, mainly to help my mother out. With that said, I did activate the new phone to have good lock working and also to make sure it works right in the first 14 days.

My only issue has been Live Wallpapers. It doesn't seem that I can apply any. Am I missing something? (just me?)
