Android 11 downloading on VZW S10+

Just like the title says, Android 11 just started downloading. Funny though, my S10+ will be retired shortly for S21 Ultra.

I got it this afternoon.

Installed over-night last night and everything I've done on it so far is fine. No bootloops, or issues as others have been reporting.

Make sure to go into the Play Store and Galaxy Store and update any apps that need it.

FYI, I read recently Samsung pulled the Android 11 OTA update due to overheating and blurry photos.

Are you encountering these with the latest update?

That sounds bad! Hopefully this is an issue isolated to only some devices? I've not heard of this yet.

On a serious note my s10 gets a touch warm. And I had an issue with phone getting warm. I did a cache wipe. We'll see how that goes.

I just got the update. One thing I noticed is that they have deleted the clock style I was using for the AOD. I liked having the hour in a bigger number than the minutes so I could easily see it first thing in the morning or with the phone sitting on the coffee table. I would really like to get that back.

Also now the battery level is on the AOD and I can't remember that being there on Android 10. Any way to get rid of that?

You can find that in the lockstar app that just got updated for good lock. If you can't find it in the store you can download it from apkmirror.com and install it. It has all the clock options in there.

Im on an unlocked S10+, VZW prepaid and no update. Scared to update if there are any issues lol
