Hi to everyone first time on here

For 4years I've had a Nokia 5 Android 9 which had become unusable for about 6months so I purchased the new Nokia G20 with Android 11.

The OS is very different I cannot seem to figure out how to minimise any open app,or internet page to bring it onto the screen again when I need it if I'm browsing

On the Nokia 5 it had old style Android buttons, like a touch bar for minimising, triangle to go back one page, and the square to bring back the minimised page.

I cannot get my head round achieving this on the G20 Android 11

Many thanks for any assistance

Welcome to Android Central! With gesture navigation, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to go back home. The app you were using should pause in RAM, and should still be visible in the App Overview/Recent Apps screen (which you access by swiping up just a little bit from the bottom of the screen). Once the App Overview shows up, you can scroll horizontally to see your recently used apps, and tap any one to open it back up.

See this for more information: https://www.nokia.com/phones/en_gb/support/nokia-g20-user-guide/use-the-touch-screen. It also shows you how to go back to the old navigation buttons.
