I looked down and saw the icon. Saw it was downloading and I was stunned to see it was 11 with 3.0!

Note 10+, Verizon, Florida.

Seems smooth
Animations are better. Some of the UI, like the pull down notification is a lot nicer.

In Arizona and I updated my Verizon Note 10+ an hour ago.
Interesting, will have to relearn some settings.

Is it just me, or is the fingerprint sensor more responsive? Want to make sure it's not the placebo effect.

Definitely more responsive
I agree. I don't think this is a placebo effort. Fingerprint unlock seems to be much better.

I hope the next update in a year is equally good. If Samsung is removing SD card support I will be keeping my Note10+ until the security updates end after year 4.

BTW, I did delete the phone cache before updating. I don't know if this is still the best practice, but I have been deleting the cache before every major update on my Samsung phones and have never had a problem with an update.

My Home scree app folders are now showing fewer apps per page. Any way to fix this like before?

OK, no one responded to my question yet, and I got a chance to search the issue. Seems Samsung reduced folder columns from 4 down to 3. No idea why, and in my search, lots were complaining about it and no one found a way to change it back. So guess I'm stuck with it.

You can use good lock home app to change rows and column size once the app is updated for one UI 3.0.

Once good lock gets updated to 3.0 you can change the folders row .

Hope I don't have to do that, but thanks for the suggestion. Maybe it's a mistake and they will fix it.

I use Nova Launcher and I have 6 columns and 7 rows. I like to control and customize all aspects of the UI.

It's not a mistake , it's how they wanted it. You never used Good Lock ?
Tried it a few times. Always wound up deleting it.

I wonder why they think it's better to scroll through multiple pages of apps that used to fit on one or two.
