Android 12 Beta 3 out. Features and Bugs.

So, it's really weird because when I set my window transitions the the .5x, 1X, and .5X, my lock screen wasnt showing notifications still. Plus, my gesture bottom bar wouldn't go away. Mine just work with the transition settings at 1X for some odd reason. Eh, I'll just have to get used to it.at least for now.

I noticed that if I let the screen lock itself after a timeout, it won't show notifications. If I lock the screen myself it then does show notifications.

Then , I've got to be missing something. I set my transition speeds to 0.5, 1, 0.5 And then locked my phone. And the Just your bar on the bottom then go away. Only when I set all the transition speeds to 1X on my phone, for some reason. It's really weird. I'll deal with it for now I don't have too much of a choice lol.

Not sure if it's because I'm using Nova, but compared to beta 2, there's a significant delay when unlocking my phone and the icons showing up on my home screen.

I use nova and don’t have any issue. Went back to OEM pixel launcher to try the icon color theming and see it is kind of lame. Not worth losing nova over. No issues at all with nova.

Yeah it turned out to be the animation scales in developer options.

I certainly don't have those issues except sometimes it won't redial when I ask it if the lock screen is on.
I recommended uninstalling Google updates and setting up Assistant again.
Then A: See if Assistant works and issue is solved and if so update Google or B: Reinstall Google updates and then setup Assistant.
I hope this makes sense.

Thanks for the tips. I was all prepared to try these after loading Beta 3, but no need. Assistant works perfectly on my Buds now. Yay!

I have the beta of Messages, and I'm still able to pin up to 3 conversations.

Maybe try to clear cache, then force close the app, and see if you get anything different on that page?

I have changed my alarm and notifications to the new ones

Ringtone "Your New Adventure" is listed but I can't pick it and it has an ! on its line.

Man I can't wait until the public version of 12 comes out... I'm dying to get it on my phone..... the first major cosmetically enhanced Android overhaul to come out since pretty much the beginning. Nothing like enjoying a whole new look, especially considering how much time we spend looking at our phone screens (some more than others ).

The Bubbles are working fine on my Pixel 4a with Beta 3.

Yeah, you're not the only one who can't pin messages at the top. I'm also on Google Messages Beta, and in Beta 3, I don't see any option to pin messages at the top of my screen anymore.

Well, I've reported the general feedback in Beta 2.1 regarding when your phone is on vibrate/silent all mode, you have to pull down the notification shade, just to see the fibrate/silent all notification. you can't quickly just view it in your top bar next to your battery meter like we used to be able to do in Android 11. It doesn't seem that Google changed this..
