I'm wondering if the problem is from using a third party launcher. I'm going back to the OEM launcher as there are much less issues anyway.
I only use the Pixel launcher but from what I read 3rd party launchers seem to cause issues in Beta 3.

Call notification (spam) cannot be swiped away. Also “clear all” didn’t do it. Still shows at the top of my screen.

It appears that any notification that is connected to the phone can't be swiped away, just a restart does the trick.

Only if I set my animations to off in developer options can I swipe phone notifications.

Oh really? I tried to set all of my transition animations before to completely off. Sure enough, the lock screen notifications do work, but of course the entire OS feel hanky and not smooth whatsoever.lol that’s the problem. Ugh.

Yeah, I don't like the hankiness either but it's the lesser of two evils.

Thanks.
Come on Google, get your act together.

Ha, well, I, guessing that’s one of the lovely quirks of beta 3. As long as we all report it shouldn’t be a big deal… for now, I’ve got all of my transition animations set at 1X.

I'll give that a try. Since I use my phone for work calls I have a lot of phone notifications. I hope this works.
Thanks.

eh, I suppose I understand what you’re talking about. What if though this whole animations transition thing isn’t a beta bug, but how Google designed android 12 to be though? Just thinking out loud here…

I doubt it. Normal transitions are 1x. How many people are going into developer options and changing it? If you leave it at 1x then you can't swipe away notifications from phone application. That's a bug.

yup, that’s very true. I was thinking about that to myself as well just now. So, you’ve turned off all animations now eh? I mean! 1X isn’t too terribly slow, just takes some time to readjust to it, and get used To it again of course.

True, and I’m not going to go changing developer options so bugs don’t appear.

Since I've already submitted a bug report on this one I'm willing to give the animation hint a try. Besides if I have to do a restart to eliminate the notifications I could get another missed phone call and the rinse and repeat starts over again.

I don’t use my phone for work or anything important.
If I miss a call while rebooting, wouldn’t it go to voicemail anyway?
