Well, I did a full reset on mine. Now, not only does assistant not work with my Buds, but it won't respond on my phone when I give the command, with or without Buds.

Make sure all your settings are correct. You need to go through everything. Nothing like a factory reset to change up things that we thought would be saved

So, my wife found that her sleep away cam I lost pair of AirPod pros which I am now using on my Pixel 5, and every other device that I have in life lol. Here's the quick differences between Pixel buds, and AirPod pros. At the gym or any loud environment, The active noise cancellation I've learned allows me to keep my music volume at a lower level at the gym turn out ANC, and it really does block out all the other background noise versus pixel bugs which I have the largest rubber ear tip on them, and it does black out a lot of the background noise but I also have to raise my music volume up quite a bit to not have my music drowned out if that makes sense. The other thing I have noticed is that I know Google's engineers will say that due to the built-in Google Assistant one but is designed to drain battery faster the dominance bug, it still gets annoying. Enterprise drain battery normally almost at the same rate. The Bluetooth connection seems a bit faster. At least when you have the AirPod pros in the case when you flip the case open they instantly connect. Versus pixel buds were if you flip the case open you still have to take them out put them in your area for them to connect. Just a small observation there. Not having Google Assistant right in the AirPod pros is obviously a downfall. You can activate Google Assistant on your phone it's just not the same thing. That's the beauty of having both pixel buds, and AirPod pros at home lol. Just want to share these thoughts with everyone! I will say that the active noise cancellation and the transparency mode of the AirPod pros does make a world of difference, at the gym especially since it's a very noisy environment. I have the Assistant sugar app on my Pixel 5 which is basically the Android version of software to allow an Android phone to see iPod pro's battery level.

This issue is being reported very frequently on Reddit as well.
Perhaps this Wednesday we'll see Beta 4.1 along with many big fixes.
Hopefully. Oh I made a call and got the new chit in the status bar.

Hopefully beta 4.1 does bring some bug fixes. Several of my reported issues were closed yesterday as "obsolete, not fixed" or something similar. Bummer.

I've had a few of those... usually it's because the issue is fixed.

Hopefully we will see Beta 4.1 tomorrow and all of our nightmares are vanquished. Looking forward to posts on Beta 4.1...hopefully without bug reports.
