I know that this work of Android 12 has always been in the betas, but it's really weird. If you have your alarm set, you also can't see them in the stash bar. You have to swipe down on any notification shaded in order to see if you have an alarm set on the phone.
I've got one showing right now do you mean clock alarm or a calendar notification?

Well, I set an alarm for 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. And I'm not seeing the alarm icon in my status bar right now. Yeah if I quickly swipe down with my fingerprint scanner until you see my notification shade, then I see my alarm icon in my notification shade if that makes sense.

EDIT: Yeah it was just me. I do see what you're referring to now. I'm pretty sure I've noticed that in other betas as well.

Original:
I just probably haven't had enough coffee yet...I'm not seeing an alarm on either of your screen shots, just calendar notifications. To be clear, mine is a clock alarm, not calendar. But, the one that is showing in my top bar is within a two hour window. I'll have to wait and see after this one triggers if it stays as I too have a recurring 445am alarm.

FWIW the alarm icon does show in the lock screen and the AOD (although couldn't screenshot that) in addition to any upcoming alarms. Seems like we used to be able to tweak the notification bar, but maybe I'm just thinking of custom ROM's I used to run on my old OG Galaxy S devices

Nope, I get you. That's happening for me as well. Don't see the alarm icon until you swipe down.

Agreed. I have several alarms set and I don't see any clock symbols at the top like before. Very annoying.

The alarm indicator on my home screen only shows up when it's within 2 hours of the alarm time. I think that's the way it is supposed to be. At least that's the way it's always been for me.

Oh, gotcha. Never thought about it like that before, but come to think about it, that's true. What of the "vibrate only" mode icon? Now, we've at least got "silent all" mode icon.

You are correct. I just set an alarm for 11:55 and the alarm icon shows in the bar. In fact all the alarms that I've set that show in the bar are less than an hour. So no need for a bug report from me.

I think the trigger window is 2 hours. I have a daily 835am set for the work week, and at 635 it seems to consistently pop into the notification bar and center. But my daily 445a will always show if I drop the notifications shade like you mentioned (the difference being its on the left if showing in the notification center, and to the right if it's outside that 2 hour window)

Don't you got you alrighty then. The whole vibrate only mode versus silent all mode versus a normal mode icons for me I've bug reporting this morning again. That's just an annoying. You've got to swipe down your notification shade just to see that you're in vibrating mode. I don't even go into that mode all that often, but it's still annoying nonetheless.

Agreed

Ha, thank you for the support! I've reported this issue in the last Bay to 3.1 like twice to three times. I just reported again in beta four this morning. I don't even go into vibrate only mode all that often, but it's the fact of the matter. Because once the beta is over with, Google probably won't make too many changes to Android 12. If that makes sense....

Probably too hard to read the attached screenshot but I filed a bug report with the same complaint

Nice, nice, thank you very much! Are you by any chance using tap or talk for Android Central forms? The reason I ask is because your screenshot is very pixelated and unfortunately unreadable. I used to have that issue with tapped off until I stopped using Tapatalk app completely. I just go ahead and do the actual Android Central URL link and upload directly from my Chrome browser. But that's great that you filed a bug report. That's one annoying issue that I've noticed!

Yeah I use TT sometimes, mainly for uploading pics. The screenshot itself is probably pixelated due to size. TT is getting somewhat annoying with pic uploads tho, probably time to find a different process

Yeah, that exactly what you talking about! When I used to have a talk on my older Pixel 3 XL on Android 11, a lot of people on the forums couldn't figure out what I was uploading because the pictures are so damn pixelated. I sent this issue and bug reports to tap a talks help support forums the email, they couldn't figure that out. I finally just got so frustrated and annoyed that I uninstalled tablet talk and that also caused my Google Play services battery drainage issue to go down a lot! Yeah, now we just access Android Central forms or Reddit forums from my Chrome browser. It's more in direct, and it's just a whole lot easier.
