What are you talking about? Rom for what?Does someone have the rom?
I do like the overall feel of the stock Pixel launcher, but there are just a handful of little niggles about it that bug me. For example. I don't like that it won't let me determine which page is my home page, it defaults to the left-most and I prefer the middle page (if for no other reason than wallpapers look more balanced to me when I start from the middle and go either left or right). So I'm doing the Nova Launcher 7 beta, which allows me to do a setup pretty close to the stock launcher, and then tweak from there the things where I feel the stock launcher comes up short. So is everyone still mostly using the stock pixel launcher on this beta? I tend to have a hard time sticking to it and wander off to a custom launcher. I will say the custom launchers are becoming more stable in beta 4.
There's a good chance an update will be released this Wednesday. I've reported the VPN issue not only to Google but also to my VPN provider and to Google Fi, both resulted in interesting comments from both. So here's hoping for a fix soon.I'm having very little issue with beta 4 on my Pixel 3, except for the already identified issue with VPNs. That's a major problem that I'm really wishing Google would go ahead and release a patch for. I've seen discussion from Google that they've already fixed the issue internally, so they could push a fix out. I guess they just aren't appreciating that it's as big of an issue for a lot of people as what it is.

I totally agree. This isn't just a inconvenient minor bug. This compromises security and privacy afforded by VPNs, especially when a public wifi is used. Here's to hoping. Last couple of X.1 betas that came out were about two weeks out from the parent release. I'm hoping they don't wait that long. Heck, I'm hoping they don't even wait until this Wednesday, to be perfectly honest.

Does someone have the rom?
That all goes with my post yesterday about the annoyance of the notification bar bugs in Android 12 beta. I have read several news articles about the issues. It bothers me tooI'm way behind on this thread so not sure if anyone has posted this. Below is the text of the bug report I just filed. The notification bar is really starting to annoy me, this beta seems like such a step backwards from 3.
"So since beta four, incoming notifications only show in the status bar as "Facebook" or "Messages", there is no preview pop-up. Trying to tap them does nothing except cause the screen to lag slightly. Over the last couple of days I've had people telling me that my phone flashlight was on and I couldn't figure out how it kept turning itself on. I had the flashlight shortcut in the top right location. Today I moved it because the light kept turning on, I thought maybe the screen was just getting unlocked in my pocket. I replaced it with Airplane Mode in that top right location. Just now I was scrolling through Facebook and received an incoming notification from Facebook. As recently, it only showed "Facebook" in my status bar, and I tried tapping it to see if I could trigger the pop-up, suddenly I realized airplane mode had been activated. So there seems to be something with the notifications and that top shortcut. "![]()
This new icon pack works with 3rd party launchers and changes with your wallpaper in Android 12. Also has widgets that change too.
Pix material you icon pack and widgets by PashaPuma Design. £1.39 but worth it for theming and has more variety than stock themed apps. Over 2000 icons.
Can't get the link from Play store for some reason.

Not in stock unfortunately. But for those people who use a 3rd party launcher this gives the best of both worlds. And the widgets theme too.Hey that looks cool and all, but that pix theming for icons will only work for 3rd party launchers though right? It won't work for the stock Pixel launcher?
