I think beta 4 is much more stable than 3 and 3.1 ever were.
I agree, things overall seem so much more stable. Still occasionally having issues with my Pixel Buds 2, but assistant does work on them from time to time.I think beta 4 is much more stable than 3 and 3.1 ever were.

I agree overall, however there is one major security bug..VPNs not working, even Google Fi/1 VPN doesn't work. Hopefully this is fixed in 4.1. How this snuck through Google is beyond me. Many beta testers have rolled back to Beta 3 because of this flaw.I agree, things overall seem so much more stable. Thanks for the tip! I'll see if this fixes my Assistant issues on my Buds. Finally found the fix for my google assistant failing. Did a hard reset previously, what a pain. So it failed again, always first thing in the morning when I actually want to use it. Anyway did some web searching and found this is a known problem since June. The fix as described by google is to find google app in settings and clear all info. Was nervous to do this the last time and only cleared cache which did nothing. This time I cleared “all data”. Did the trick and assistant is back and running like a well oiled machine again.
So just passing this info along as I can’t believe I’m the only one with this recurring issue. (4a)
Good try, but my assistant is still hit or miss with my Buds. Sometimes if I long press 2 or 3 times, it'll finally read me my notifications, but I usually have to pause what I'm listening to, and then long press. Finally found the fix for my google assistant failing. It sounds like we might have different issues. When I would try to call the assistant it would say just a minute and then the fail pop-up would appear and it wouldn’t work at all for anything. Sorry it didn’t work for you.Good try, but my assistant is still hit or miss with my Buds. Good feedback.Just thought I'd share with everyone what type of feedback I gave to Google just now with the Android 12 Beta 4 feedback survey!
Good feedback.
Mines set so that when I flip it goes on Do Not Disturbhehe, thanks a bunch! Also, if you use the always on lock screen, i just realized again that if you flip your phone face down and for the the AOD off, you can save a crap ton of battery power.. Check it out!
