After the update, I saw there was an update available in Play Store for the Google Pixel Buds app. Sure hope that fixes my issue using Assistant with them!
Well, expectations dashed. No change, even after restarting. There's no update to the buds themselves, maybe that's something to come soon....

Here's a link to the full 4.1 patch:

In the screenshot in my post above the clipboard notification can be seen. That notification persists way to long. It needs to go away a lot quicker.

Well, I submitted this bug report to Google Android 12 beta feedback.

I will say this has been the worst Android Beta experience for me ever, and I've done it a few times before. Just bugs in crucial apps - lock ups, freezes, annoying bug with volume and maps. I had to reboot my phone multiple times to fix lock ups. Beta 4 made some stuff better finally but I never had this type of experience in a Beta experience. I am chalking it up to Covid and people not being in the office as much to work together.

I agree. I think the Android crew are interested in the Pixel 6 series and A12 working on those. Beta 5 better offer up far less bugs than we've had.

I tend to agree also. I'm not bashing Google or beta testing. I like both and will continue to do this as long as I own a Pixel phone. But this is definitely no where near as smooth & polished as Android 11 beta was at this point last Summer. Last year I felt like 11 beta was ready for public release by the second round of beta. This year with 12 beta.....not so much. But I am also confident that Google can get this right by October when it's time for the Pixel 6 and public release of Android 12.

I suppose it's all in how you use your phone. I have felt this has been smooth enough for a daily since the first 12 beta.

Nothing was as bad as 10 beta. That was miserable. It was the only beta I ever had where I needed to go back to stock.

Yes, I couldn't agree with you more so. Android 10 and Android 11 betas were horrible. Android 12 beta has been smooth, fluid and nice since beta 1! At least it might opinion. Android Auto has worked pretty well, Google Assistant has worked very well, etc etc

This has been buggy. The beta for my Samsung S10+ last year was worse than this A12 beta on my pixel except for the fatal crash reset incident in beta 1. I did a factory reset with beta 4 as well. And it rubs better after that. Just waiting for the update to install.

He also shows a few bugs.
I don't have the new change in Adaptive Charging. That one I would like on my Pixel 4a.

Seems the same to me too

I really just hope that either in the next Beta, or when Android 12 is finally ready for production, that the Always on Lock Screen font and auto theming color get fixed, and so does the "vibrate only" icons in the status bar. Other than that, I don't think that I've really got any other complaints about anything at all.

Yeah, touché, I love the visual changes! Like I've said, Android definitely needed some visual overhauling for sure. More customization!
