Android 12 beta live

Not a drill Android 12 beta is out in the U.S for our beloved flip 3. Difference here though is that it's only for the unlocked model. Has anyone been successful in joining? I haven't seen it yet. Probably due to me downloading the Thom Browne software(which doesn't qualify). Interested to see how everyone is liking it so far and the differences although I hear that the outside display features remain unchanged lol.

I got it tonight. Still looking around. Initial reaction it seems to be smooth and fluid. No apps have been a problem. Prompts with every app if you want notifications which could get old in a hurry. Will report back in a day or two.

Yeah that's just part of the new security controls on Android 12. Kind of making you aware of everything you agree to which is a good thing.

Strange but the face recognition no longer works, I deleted and reinstalled my mug still now luck.

On the face recognition problem I have , where do I find it so I can force stop and and clean the cache ?

Settings>Biometrics and Security>Face recognition> Enter your PIN > Remove Face Data (or explore the other choices)

I've noticed a significant change of Wi-Fi speeds since the update. Max before was 330Mbps. Now I'm hitting 700 Mbps.

Yes, on the home screens I constantly get prompted that it crashed. Constantly. Very annoying.

It started on the 3rd release of beta for the S21. Thought they would've fixed it before sending it out to the foldables, but they still haven't fixed it for the S21 series so don't know why I'm surprised. You will stop getting the Samsung pay fail message if you change to navigation buttons.

Wow, yes you're right...changing to navigation buttons "fixed" the issue. Crazy that it's been an issue for so long and they haven't addressed it yet.

Has anyone noticed with Samsung Messages app that the contact avatars no longer show up in texts? I compared against my N20U on Android 11/One UI 3.1 and they are there. Not sure if it's Android 12 or One UI 4.

Wow, yes you're right...changing to navigation buttons "fixed" the issue. Crazy that it's been an issue for so long and they haven't addressed it yet.

I had this using the stock launcher but using Nova Launcher I don't have it.

Annoying change to my calendar entries in Month view.

When I updated to the Android12 Beta, all my appointment entries on the Month view of my stock calendar show up in WHITE text in a WHITE bubble, making them a bit of a challenge to read!

Anyone know of a way to edit either the text or the background bubble color for appointments in the stock Calendar?

Got a new beta version this morning as well as an update to the Samsung Pay app via the app store. Not sure which one fixed it, but I don't have this issue anymore with gesture navigation turned on. Sweet.
