Like this combo. Had to do the gesture navigation trick to change the theme. Will try with that green one again.

It did initially go back to pink but after I did the navigation hack it went blue. Had hoped for a light green.

Another idea I've been doing when my auto-theming colors doesn't work with my wallpaper as I go into system gestures, and toggle between just navigation and three button navigation mode. That usually corrects the material you auto-theming issue.

OK, this worked for me by flipping back and forth 3 or 4 times.
Don’t know why but maybe you should tell Google in the beta feedback.

I get this using an all green wallpaper.
If I don't reset the style it is pink

Am I the only one needing to reset the style setting when changing wallpapers? No one else mentioned doing so as a solution.

I have this. Not sure where it picked the color from though. Had to collage since can't attach two photos in the same message using AC app.

Okay, maybe it's just me, but does Chrome Cannery use less resources (Ram / battery) versus the regular stable version of Chrome from the Play Store? Check out the screenshot so far..... I'm very curious as to what everyone else thinks here...

And, I swear, that in Chrome Canary Flags you can fine tune adjust the force dark mode setting to better against the white background for websites. And the speed of loading websites in Canary is slightly faster / smoother.

I'm not sure what happened overnight but now when I change wallpaper the MY accent colors change. However those tend toward ugly pastel colors I would never pick. When I go back to my preferred wallpaper it returns to pig puke pink with notifications in Circus Peanuts Orange. Go figure.
This brings up my main complaint, not having complete control over what accent colors I can have. I really don't want Android to decide which colors I should be seeing. I want control and choice.
Below is my home screen with my preferred wallpaper, my wife standing in front of a AB Clydesdale. She is wearing my red Gortex coat. I believe that coat is the source of the ugly pink accent color.

Interesting. On both counts. I have never tried canary. And yes the coat is the source of the pink. I think

Yeah, I tried Canary once, many many years ago. I keep on playing around with different browsers on my phone for the speed & efficiency of them all as you can tell. I'll have to update you as to what my findings are. haha. So far, so good. Yeah, for the most part, my Material You Auto-Theming colors have been working out pretty well... as long as you're willing to do some tinkering/playing around with the OS, that's for sure.

I would prefer it would have gone with Clydesdale brown. Google definitely needs to provide color choices independent of wallpaper influences or just turn the **** thing off.

I don't mind them picking the colors if they get them right. The main color of the wallpaper is fine with me though I could understand some people wanting to chose. They need to work on this though.

Agreed with everyone's view

There’s a learning curve that comes with these material you colors. I prefer some shades of green as it is my favorite color. I picked a nice green off the web and found I got pink in the drop down! So I merely darkened the green up a bit and got the green drop down again as well as other green accents. I’m finding tweaking certain wallpapers works for me as far as getting the accent colors I want.
I notice blue is hard and typically shows up as very light.
But, above all else if I don’t check and change my style setting back to green from the default after every wallpaper change then it will not work.

I'm getting very good battery on my 4a (non 5g) also. I've never drained it that far but I get, according to the battery log, a couple days of normal usage.
