What does based on your usage or routine mean? I've always been confused about that. Most of everything else in Android 12 Beta 1 works beautifully well!

It adapts to the way you use your phone. Do you usually charge it at a set time or use it more during the day. For example.

Honestly, As you can tell, I have it set at 35% battery so I can squeeze out the most amount of battery per charge. Although, admittedly I'm soo anal about battery power, that I never actually drain my phones battery. lol.

A good thing, I am the same.

So I installed the beta on a P3a I wasn't using. Had to set it up and install 5 updates. Even the smallest updates took at least 15 minutes to completely install with most being around 1/2 hour. Finally got to the beta and it took less than 15 minutes to download and completely install! That's great, but wondering why major upgrades are faster than minor updates. Makes no sense.

Still in the initial evaluation of 12, but good so far. This is a major update in looks and feel than I've seen in a while. 10 and 11 were mainly behind the scenes updates IMO.

Anyone using this on their daily without issues? Asking for a friend...

I am using it on one of my daily phones. I have a few bugs but mainly to do with the bubbles as expressed above. Other than that it is running very smoothly. Betas will have bugs though, so I would be careful on a one and only device.

I have it in my only phone, Pixel 4a. It runs just fine with a few bugs that don't impact my daily usage needs. I'm sure the bugs that exist will be exterminated in an update or two.

Yeah, I got bit starting with the beta 10 on my daily Pixel, but had no issues when I did the 11 betas luckily. Figured I'd wait it out again but I feel comfortable when I see positive responses. Also, been playing around with the beta on my backup 3xl with no issues.

Well, I took the plunge today, and so far so good. So glad to have this thread available to keep an eye out for issues that are discovered.

1st bug, lol. My Mobvoi app closes down when trying to open. I tried force closing the app, clearing cache, then uninstalling/reinstalling the app, but it still closes. I sent a bug report to them about it. No need to report this to Google, is there?

Could be app not compatible on 12

Running 12 beta one on my pixel five as a daily driver. No major hiccups at all. The keyboard freezes every now and then, but that nothing major whatsoever. Compared to an android 10 being an android 11 better, android 10 beta my android auto crashed horribly. Android 12 beta, so far nothing.

I put the beta on my daily phone and having no issues other than gmail which corrected itself after a few hours. Everything is working great. I also run iPhone betas and must say google really has it together in the beta dept over Apple as far as stability and things working properly. For a first beta I’m very happy with it.
FYI I see Nova is coming out with Nova 7 soon. I’ve signed up for their beta program but haven’t gotten the download yet. Looking forward to Checking that out.

A small but nice feature, a small magnifying rectangle show up when long pressing a word or line to copy. See screenshot. It helps with small type.
