I used screen recording and then converted the resultant video to a compressed gif. Has to be under 20MB to upload to the forum. So I trimmed the video in the app to the precise bits needed and converted it to a gif. Then uploaded the gif to the forum as a photo.

The app I used is GIF Maker (listed as Gif Shop in the app drawer) and was free with £2.99 to remove the ads.

Thanks. I'll look into it. Looks like it can be very useful. This olde dog can learn new tricks.

It looks like a very cute dog in your profile pic.
That was Smoke (Smoke In the Aire). He was my soulmate. He picked me out as a puppy. He was a natural in Agility, with many first place titles and qualified for NADAC Nationals. He was an amazing canine companion. That pic was taken crossing the Georgia/Florida state line when we were moving to Florida in 2001.
11 years ago he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I still miss him very much.

This is Smoke practicing Jumps.

So sorry for your loss.

Another reported bug.
Voicemail won't play through Bluetooth using Pixel Buds Gen2. It only only plays through phone speaker. On Android 11 VM would play through buds.
Attached is the response I received after submitting bug report. I'm not really sure what hierarchy P3/P2 represents. Also there is a link that takes me to the posted bug report. So submitting a bug report is important.

Yeah. Submitting bug reports is important. I get those weird emails but I guess it means they have the reports to work on.

That's interesting, because my voice messages do play back through my Pixel Buds 2. I'm using the Sprint Visual Voicemail app.

Digging the new beige color in the Google feed page. Looking forward to the "material you", should be pretty cool having the color shades pull from the wallpaper.

How did you see the new material you beige wallpaper in the Google feed page?

It just showed up yesterday morning. Then I read somewhere that it was a sample of what was to come relating to the actual material you when it is released later and derives its tones from the wallpaper we happen to be using. It is beige and looks pretty cool, very easy on the eyes. Really looking forward to the real material you now.

This is left of the home screen, my news feed or discovery feed page. The google app when opened has the same beige color at the top but the rest is dark grey on mine as I use dark mode. I’m really liking this and if it is supposed to change with wall papers I’ll be swapping out walls a lot. I’m thinking this is going to be pretty cool when it’s completely baked. This has the potential to be a really nice theming option. This is just a sample.
Could be a gradual roll out.

Got you, I was curious, because my Google feed is black background and very small and minimal. I haven't seen any changes to it yet.

Android 12 Beta 1

Anyone bite the bullet?
I did a couple of days ago and everything is working fine... So far.
Only one thing... When using my Bluetooth headset something strange happens. The volume gets cut when a notification comes in. That's normal. What isn't normal is the volume does not go back up. I have to disconnect the headset then reconnect and it goes back to normal.
Other than that... It's fun to goof around with.

[Merged you to where everyone on beta 12 is talking about it]

Don't forget to send a bug report to Google
