Yupp lets gp! Praying to god that Google actually fixed the bugs we reported time and time again.. If they didn't I'll just have to keep on reported the bugs back to them, until Android 12 becomes finalized. That's all.

It’s the app optimizations that takes so long. So the more apps, the longer it takes.

Testing "Daylong Routine" feature. Didn't work with Beta 4.1. Setting time is a pia. Having to scroll through every time zone in the world to find mine. Ugh.

Is "optimizing apps as we speak" the new "downloading now"?

Asking for a friend.

It's me. The friend is me

Looks like maybe another one hour update. Been on optimizing apps for 30 minutes and only half way through.

Right. The Beta 4 thread is the best place to post bugs or comments on today's 4.1 patch.
We'll get Beta 5 soon enough.

My Pixel 5 took forever just as everyone else's phone took. So far, it's of course smoother but none of the bugs I reported to Beta feedback have been fixed: in "vibrate only" mode, there's STILL NO status bar ion for vibrate ONLY silent all mode. Also, the always on lock screen isn't always in material you theming. Apps are of course smoother, and the new universal search is kind of cool. It's really you use the universal search by swiping up into the app draw, or you just leave your most used apps still on your homescreen as normal. I'm still trying to figure out what I'll be doing about that. The new calculator app is pretty nice looking.

Glad to see the search on phone available from the app drawer now.

Unfortunately, the bug with my Google Pixel Buds 2 is still around .

Also, the At A Glance widget is now optional, but I noticed that there's a calendar widget on there in place of At A Glance, and it can't be removed.

Yeah, the bugs from 4.1 for the vibrate only icon in the status bar, and the material you being more reliable / consistent on the Amazon lock screen are still there. I'm going to keep on reporting the bug but at this point that doesn't seem like Google will fix it, unless I'm missing something or unless Google is saving it for the production version of Android 12! Of course apps are smoother and more responsive.

New clock widgets finally!!
And the second hand moves. Only put it on to try it out. Not keeping it on Mr Snerd's body.

Beta 5 is not good on my phone. Uggghhhh, slow, sluggish, Pixel Launcher is pretty much useless. Bummer. I might have to opt out at this point and factory reset. I'm glad it's working great for so many others, but my 4XL is just not liking these Android 12 beta builds

Really liking the new clock choices with the material you color options.

We are pretty close to the end of the beta cycle so your phone should be working better than ever. I wonder if it's something on the phone that's causing issues like an app that hasn't been updated or something like that. I know I ended up having to do a hard reset back to factory settings two or three betas ago. Not fun but it certainly fixed things. Maybe check your memory and see how that looks and clear some caches, anything you're not really using you can offload. For me a factory reset is always a last resort I always try everything but that first

Good points. I'm going to tinker a bit.
