Android 15 and battery life

My P8Pro upgraded to 1 yesterday. Battery life already noticeably worse. And 15 really brings me personally not much I'm interested in. Meh.

My P8P's battery life also seems a bit shorter (worse in the beginning, but nothing too serious now or I'd really be whining ) after the 15 update, but no scientific testing to back up my anecdotal thoughts and I am still assessing the situation. Hopefully, any battery issues will be resolved in the next monthly update.

There was also next to nothing that 15 brought to the table for my use case, but I can see how some of the new features might be considered useful by some users.

Let's hope that there will be something new, exciting and useful for both you and I in QPR2. Personally, I'm hoping to see the 80% charge cap.

How many charge cycles have you gone through since the update? Battery life often seems worse for the first day or so after an update because updates use a fair amount of energy. I would give it several more days and see if it still seems worse after that.

I haven't noticed any issues on my 7 Pro on 15. It's also worth rebooting if you haven't already.
