Just did the clear data method trying to force the update and I got it. Had to do it 3 or 4 times. Updated and still have my root. :D Now all I need is JB on my GS3 and I'll be a happy nerd

Probably a coincidence but I did it 17 times and finally got the update.

Mine's here. SoCal. My mom took it to work, and when she came home it was on there already. She said she didn't even touch it, her friend did though.

Huzzah! Clearing the data didn't work nor did restarting it but turning airplane mode on then off did the trick!

Don't bother, that doesn't do anything. I cleared it 10 times and restarted too and still no update. It has nothing to do with whether you get the update.

It certainly did do something in my case. There was less than one minute between "Your system is current," clearing the cache, and 4.1.2 ready for download and install. The odds of me just happening to clear the cache just when Google makes 4.1.2 ready are pretty slim.

Good luck with the screen lift! Hope it works out for you, I've been lucky to not experience that as of yet and I've had mine for a while now. Guess I don't us it as much though as I'm test driving a fruit product!

So I just fixed the screen lift. Took out the screw where it was lifting put it back in and boom its gone. I'm a happy camper.

Well tried clearing framework data and no success!

Might try a reset but really don't want to go through setting everything back up.

Still no update for me. I've tried everything except clearing framework and resetting the unit. I've got a C80 unit in the DC area. Waiting patiently.
