Clearing framework and reboot also worked for me.

Finally updated. Used the services framework method.

Got it on my tablet but was wondering if it is rolling out also for the unlocked gsm gnex. Anyone know?

Saw an improvement in wifi signal. Went from 58 to 70% in same location. :) Not scientific but a good indication.

Would like better wifi sensitivity/coverage. Anybody have suggestions?

I have noticed better WiFi signal too. Also more consistent.

my process

About tablet->System updates->check now
About tablet->System updates->check now
About tablet->System updates->check now
...
result nothing.

airplane mode on
apps->all->Google Services Framework->clear all app data
airplane mode off
About tablet->System updates->check now

3x with no update.

apps->all->Google Services Framework->clear all app data
About tablet->System updates->check now

update found.

I don't think airplane mode helped at all. It is just luck after clearing the Google Services Framework data.

No airplane mode has nothing to do with it. You just have to clear frameworks data and check for update 3-4 times and boom it was there.

I thought it was BS honestly, but clearing the framework actually worked! Downloading it now.

From the comments it appears you HAVE to do the framework thing to get the update' NYC suburbs here and still no sign of update as of almost 11 am Sunday. Pretty weird.

OK, I realize I'm just venting a little frustration but, DAMN! How long do I have to wait for this OTA update? I thought this was an easy thing for the Uber-engineers at Google. Are there so many problems that they aren't comfortable with rolling out the release? Are they just updating 5 a day?

You're not gonna believe this, but I just got my update.....go figure. AC Forums...you rule!

LOL

My CM10 Epic 4G has had 4.1.2 for a few days now. I'm gonna try this clearing of the frameworks trick and if that doesn't work I might as well just put CM10 on my grouper.

I just spoke to tech support and was told that most have gotten the update and to do the framework. He said you have to sign in again I in play store if you use the framework method.

I didn't have to do that. The update just started after clearing the framework. It's worked fine since.

"settings-->apps-->All Apps-->Google service framework [Clear data/Cache]
you will have to try it a few times."

Would the same trick work on the Google Play apk if I wanted to force the Google Play update?
