Eh, after the last Sense update I'm weary of anything after that. IMO they just added a bunch of crap we didn't want or need(like battery save setting stuck in your notification bar), took away the ability to remove the Beats icon, moved a bunch of apps to system apps so we can't disable them, took away skins, etc.
+1
I would certainly NOT look forward to that non-hidable/disablable Blinkfeed crap or what they did to the apps drawer.
You can hide blink feed and make the app drawer a more reasonable 4x5 grid very easily.
There is no animated weather but you do see a weather graphic in line with the new more minimal sense. Also I can assure you that even without a few of the features MeanBean offered I haven't switched back from the Sense 5 rom, it's incredibly fast and better designed in so many ways.

And I dont see why we wouldnt get it. The phones only a year old.
I gotta say I'd like to try Sense 5 with Blinkfeed and Android 4.2/4.3. However, these articles both say that they will roll out "later". Given HTC's track record, I'd believe that the EVO will be the first or second of the listed devices to get the update and that it will happen in Q4 2013 or Q1 2014.. Having said that, I believe it will be kept under tight raps after the forum tirade that went on when the last upgrade was leaked.
Face it, it's already June and they haven't dropped 4.2 on the One. 4.3 wasn't released during Google I/O, and therefore doesn't look to come out until the fall. HTC has got to be looking at the timing of the 4.3 release when they make any decisions about upgrading the One (and the EVO) to 4.3 or 4.2. I mean why put the effort into a 4.2 upgrade when 4.3 is around the corner? If they're delaying development of an upgrade to the ONE, then they're pushing the EVO/DNA/etc upgrades out even further. I saw a reference to a possible EVO upgrade to 4.3 in Q4. Sorry, I'm not buyin' it. We'll be lucky to get the 4.2 upgrade with Sense 5 by Christmas.
Cons - Well nothing really. I mean sometimes blinkfeed is really useful when you're bored or in the bathroom.
How about the loss of a home screen and loss of memory to blinkfeed which can't be disabled. We already don't have enough memory... It is just plain stupid that HTC doesn't have an "off" option for blinkfeed.
And not a con of 5 vs 4, but I bet anything they STILL have not fixed the damn lock screen, home screen, settings screens, apps screens, phone apps screens, and contacts screens so they can be used in LANDSCAPE. They have the ability in car mode, so why not ALWAYS? How many years do we have to wait for that????!!! UG!!!
