such a small update)))

Nexus 7 2nd WiFi Android 5.0.1

It is isn't it?

Must've squeezed a lot into not much space. Or there just isn't much to fix.

Anyone have a change log?

Guys, please write your countries:)

I don't think location matters but I am in the U.S.
Correct, location does not matter. Google sends out the update in no particular order. There's a bunch of device IDs, and the update is just rolled out randomly to those devices in waves.

Take a look at this: morrildl comments on PSA: Do not clear data for Google Service Framework and this: morrildl comments on 4.4 Kitkat has started rolling out on the N4!

For anyone that is interested, here is the location of the OTA files to load manually: Android 5.0.2 OTA links are starting to arrive — this is how you use them | Android Central

Got my update yesterday. Not much of a change, but I had no issues with 5.0.1

Just checked. NOTHING. Google has the worst update progress and no I am not erasing my device to install this update for the third time. I never got any Lollipop update had to sideload the last one and erase everything.

Downloading 5.0.2 now.

I just got prompted for the updated also, but haven't installed. I'm waiting to hear feedback on it first.

2013 32GB Nexus Wifi only. Eastern US location. Missed out on the initial 5.0 OTA (ignored the announcement message, then it vanished). Just tried "check for system updates" and saw 5.0.2 was available. Downloaded quickly enough, feels like 15-30 minutes to do the reboot, install, and optimizing steps (sorry, forgot to time it). So far, everything appears to be there and working.

I am getting a persistent (haven't waited more than a few minutes or rebooted yet) warning about an app needing permission to update, it opens Google Play Services, but only shows options to deactivate or open. I did go through and check on various settings for apps, location services, etc. Looking at the app reviews, other folks are seeing the persistent warning message.

My OTA update is installing now. 4.4 to 5.0.2. I'm in NY.

Just got mine when I booted my tablet up at 4pm est. Got it waiting in the notification bar for now. Let's hope it doesn't disappear like 5.0.1 did! ;)

I'm on long island, NY

Why bother putting a check for update button it never finds any updates. I just get updates when I see the notification.

Got the 5.02 ota this am in Hawaii. Works great on my 2013 n7 as it does on my 2012 n7. 5.0 and 5.01 are apparently broken. Update goes straight from 4.44 to 5.02.

Got updated via OTA this evening, I was on 5.01 which was working flawlessly on my stock N7 2015 WiFi.

I just got the notification 10 min ago that it downloaded, but not installed yet. Is it safe to do so from 4.4.4? Thanks!
