Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Nexus 5 on November 3rd?

The Nexus 5 is being advertised on the Play Store with Lollipop, so I don't think Google is worried about people purchasing the N5 over the N6 because of Lollipop. I hope to see it very soon.

Where is it being advertised with Lollipop?
Hmm, I saw it over the weekend on the Play Store shown with Lollipop. Must have been immediately pulled.

We now have the TV image released. I know that's not indication as to when the N5 image will be released, but the anticipation is growing. Lol

Edit: This is where I saw the Nexus 5 with Lollipop: http://www.google.com/nexus/5/
You can access that page through the Play Store by selecting the "Learn More" option. It's not the same as being advertised for sale with Lollipop as I initially thought.

If I am wrong and you remember this, PM and I'll do something crazy like saying sorry and admitting my personal opinion was wrong on the internet.

You would be making Internet history! :D

On to something else, will devices running the Android L developer preview need to be manually flashed to the factory image? Or will they update OTA? I have a Nexus 7 with the preview, and I'm assuming I'll need to manually flash the official Lollipop ROM when it releases, but I don't know for sure.

That information has not been made available. I'm with you, however, in thinking that you'll need to flash the 5.0 factory image if you are currently on the preview.

I don't really care either way. I bought the device for the sole purpose of playing with the preview, so I've held off getting it set up permanently. I'm prepared to start over.
