Android 9 pie (on samsung device)release date in Romania

Hi guys ,sorry for my bad English btw.
My friends already got android 9 on theire phone (galaxy s9and s9+)..and I still did not i bought my phone with a contract from Orange.. do i need to wait for the operator to validate the OS?
And if I install the OS with Odin.. i will lose my warranty?

If your phone is locked on a carrier then you will have to wait for the carrier to release the update.
I don't think you'll lose the warranty if you flash with odin.
