Android application not right for my notebook

In an effort to run android on my Toshiba Satellite I installed x86-4.0-RC2-tx2500 to a partion on my HD. I had no idea initially that it was for HP. I seem to get everything but recognition of Wi-Fi. Is that because I have wrong application, if so what is correct one. Please advise and thanks

yes, it could be because there are build for individual manufacturer..

i am not sure if there is one available for thosiba
