Android Bluetooth connection - automatic?

Is there any way I can get the Bluetooth to automatically connect to the Bluetooth receiver in my car?

Every time I use it I have to manually pair my phone to the receiver that connects to my car stereo.

Sometimes it does this automatically, sometimes not...
